CII- IAF Seminar on Make in India for Indian Air Force 2017

India has the fourth largest Air Force in the world, a rapidly growing civil aviation sector and the potential of becoming one of the major aviation hubs in the world in the near future. This prospect offers a huge opportunity for the aerospace industry in areas of design, development, integration, manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of aerospace systems and equipment.

In continued pursuance of the 'Make in India' initiate and other measures taken by the Government, Indian Air Force, in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising a CII - IAF Seminar on Make In India For Indian Air Force Through Innovation and Indigenisation on 23 May 2017 at Air Force Auditorium, New Delhi. This seminar is a sequel to the seminar on 'Make in India for Indian Air Force' held at New Delhi on 19 Apr 16. The primary focus of this event would be to chart a path to nurture a progressive aerospace manufacturing capability amongst the Indian industry with associated design and development capabilities.
